We recently carried out the electrical installation works for the 56,000 sq ft fit out of the new Department W Building for Queen Mary University of London and Overbury.

The project was particularly complicated due to the historic nature of the building including efficiently operating the lighting controls around the skylight domes and glazing. The project programme was a quick one at just 12 weeks. Our works included the full electrical installation as well as data, access control and fire systems installations utilising our key suppliers.

This CAT B installation provides a hybrid working environment for students with space for collaboration. The suspended LED lighting systems and exposed services complement this environment.
